RED BALL TENNIS
TEENSY TENNIS– For the beginner player 4-5 years old of age. Children will learn basic skills of movement,
catching, throwing, and hitting. Time will also be spent with basic stroke production. Foam and red balls are used.
LITTLE STARS– For the beginner player 5-7 years of age. Juniors will continue to develop basic skills, movement, catching, throwing, and hitting. Basic fundamentals with an emphasis on ball striking and tracking skills will be emphasized. Red balls are used.
ORANGE BALL TENNIS
BRIGHT STARS– For the beginner to intermediate 7-9 years of age. Class will be structured proper progressions of the basic tennis fundamentals with an emphasis on ball skills, baseline rallying and serve.
JUNIOR STARS– For the intermediate player 8-10 years of age. Players will continue to learn key technical skills and fundamentals. They will also work on baseline rallying, serve and return, volleys and overheads. Point Play. Players will learn to be reactive to opponents’ shots and keep score. Players are encouraged to play USTA Youth Progression Tournaments.
GREEN BALL TENNIS
CHAMPS– This class primarily uses a low compression Green Ball. This class will develop tennis appropriate athletic, technical, game and competitive skills for the young player. Players will continue to work on their consistency, contact points, and over all stroke production. Competitive points will be included in the class. Players are typically playing USTA Youth Progression Tournaments.
