Ross Brown

Ross began his coaching career at John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch in Texas, serving as Summer Camp Director and leading the International Junior Competitive Edge Program. During his time at Newk's he helped oversee summer programs that hosted more than 2,000 campers each season. Competitive Edge produced pro players along with elite college players. 

He went on as Head Tennis Professional at Tri State Athletic club, with an 11-year tenure as Head Tennis Coach at the University of Evansville and 7 years as Head Men's Coach at the University of Southern Indiana. Ross was also co-owner of Advantage Court and Fitness in Evansville. While coaching in Evansville, his players won multiple CITA championships, and guided athletes to two Indiana and one Kentucky high school state titles, along with several state doubles championships. At USI, one of his players finished as the NCAA Division II national runner-up, and he also coached a player who achieved the No. 1 National NAIA ranking. 

Ross later managed the Fujairah Tennis and Country Club in United Arab Emirates, (Dubai) where he increased membership from 8- to more than 800 in just two years. During his time the UAE, he also traveled on the professional tour with a Spanish player and coached the UAE National Junior Team. 

Most recently, Ross retired from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee after 13 years as Head Men's and Women's Coach. His teams captured five conference championships, and he was a three-time Conference Coach of the Year
