Welcome to Evansville Community Tennis Association
At Evansville Tennis Center, we believe every player should train in the right environment for their age, ability, and goals. Our pathway-based program provides a clear progression from learning the fundamentals to developing competitive skills and pursuing tournament-level performance.
Learn the Game
Designed for Red Ball, Orange Ball, Green Ball, and beginner middle/high school players, the Development Pathway focuses on building athletic skills, proper technique, confidence, and a love for tennis. Players learn the fundamentals of serving, rallying, scoring, and sportsmanship while progressing toward competitive play.
Learn to Compete
The Competitive Pathway is for players ready to move beyond fundamentals and begin developing match-play skills. Training emphasizes consistency, point construction, decision-making, movement, and competitive habits. Players participate in structured match play and league opportunities designed to prepare them for school tennis and entry-level tournament competition.
Train to Perform
The Performance Pathway is designed for committed tournament players seeking a high-level training environment. Sessions focus on advanced technical development, tactical awareness, physical conditioning, mental toughness, and competitive performance. Players are expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic, commitment to improvement, and a desire to compete at a higher level.
