Executive Director & Director of Player Development

Ryan McDaniel is a nationally recognized coach, tennis industry leader, and player development specialist with more than 16 years of coaching experience across junior, collegiate, and high-performance tennis.

As Executive Director & Director of Player Development, Ryan oversees the strategic growth of tennis programming, staff development, and player pathways while continuing to work directly with many of the region's top junior players. His coaching philosophy centers on long-term athlete development, creating clear pathways for players to progress from beginner levels through competitive junior, collegiate, and national-level tennis.

Ryan's coaching accomplishments have earned recognition at the state and national levels. He is a recipient of the USPTA Under 30 National Coach of the Year Award, USPTA Indiana Coach of the Year, and ITA Assistant Coach of the Year honors. Throughout his career, he has developed numerous players who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level while helping competitive juniors achieve success in USTA sectional and national competition.

Prior to his current leadership role, Ryan spent seven years as an assistant coach at the University of Southern Indiana, where he helped mentor student-athletes both on and off the court. His collegiate coaching background continues to provide valuable insight for junior players pursuing opportunities at the next level.

Beyond his coaching responsibilities, Ryan is actively involved in advancing player development and junior competition throughout the United States. His current leadership and volunteer positions include:

As a player, Ryan competed nationally as a junior, earned multiple Indiana All-State selections, was a member of an IHSAA State Championship team, and continued his career at the NCAA collegiate level.

Ryan remains passionate about creating opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels while building a culture that emphasizes character, sportsmanship, personal growth, and competitive excellence. His goal is to provide affordable access to quality tennis programming while helping every player reach their full potential both on and off the court.
