Volunteer Opportunities

Join me in supporting the Evansville Tennis Center and/or The Wesselman Tennis Courts!

Volunteers needed for:

Community Tennis Events

Free events to the public

Hosting events throughout the year

Volunteer to help on court for a couple of hours

Committee Volunteers needed:

Fundraising - help Holly with Annual Dinner & Auction, gathering items, donations, etc.

Facility events - help with Social Nights, Tournaments, etc.

Pickleball - help specifically with Pickleball Events

Tennis - help specifically with Tennis Events

Specific Volunteer Needs:

Assist with tennis and education learning for youth in under-recourced areas. Current programs onging are at Evansville Tennis Center courts, Glenwood Leadership Academy, Dream Center Evansville, Potterswheel, and at CK Newsome Community Center downtown. Exact schedule is not posted here for security purposes. Please contact Holly for days and times at each location to help out. Assistance requires taking a 20 mintue online volunteer safe play course and it will provide a background check as well. Assistance on court/onsite at locations includes: feeding balls to youth players, tossing balls for drills, running tennis games for youth (it is easy and fun & I provide all instructions). Our goal is to get racquets in the hands of area youth to learn and enjoy the lifelong sport of tennis. We do occasionally also provide pickleball as it is easier for some of the younger players. The ages of children are 6 - 14 for the programs. Glenwood Leadership Academy is third graders.
